BMS Parent Teacher Conferences Spring 2025

Wednesday, February 26, 4:00-7:30 PM, online/virtual appointments
Parent Teacher Conferences for the Spring of 2025 will be both in person and virtual via Zoom. Each teacher will have approximately 80 time slots for a 5-minute conference.
Due to time constraints, we are asking that parents of students with grades A or B in classes to email teachers with specific questions they may have about the course. Teachers will either answer these directly or in a common team/parent email. You are welcome to sign up for open appointments on Thursday or Friday of the sign-up week.
Parents of students with a C or below in class please use the Skyward parent conference scheduler to schedule a time slot for conferences. Also due to time constraints, if you have a concern that will take more than 5 minutes, please email the teacher directly to schedule a call or conference at a different time. If a conference needs additional time, teachers have been instructed to ask for another time to reschedule to follow up or finish the discussion while still staying on track with the appointment schedule.
Instructions to sign up for an appointment are below:
Parents will sign up on Skyward for a time. On Tuesday, Feb. 25, appointments will be in person at the school in teacher classrooms. On Wednesday, Feb. 26, appointments will be on Zoom. On the morning of Feb. 25th, we will email all parents a list of the links/phone numbers for the Zoom/calls. Parents can access through the Zoom link for a video conference or use the phone number and code to call in and conference through the phone.
If parents would like to speak with one of our social emotional team members, support staff or administration, they will also be available during the Parent Teacher Conference Times. Please email these staff members directly to set an appointment.

Sign-ups for Parent Teacher Conferences will begin on Tuesday, February 18th, at 8 AM and will close Monday February 24th at 3 PM.
Parent Conference Instructions – Skyward
Login to your Skyward Family Access
If you have more than 1 student in Canyons School District Schools, choose All Students
- On the left side click the Conferences tab
Note:
- Only one appointment can be scheduled per teacher per student
- If guardians maintain separate households, they must login separately to schedule individual conference times for their student
- If you have more than one student, the system will allow you to schedule them at the same time with two different teachers, however a warning will appear because this will double book you.
- Click All Conferences next to the student’s name for whom you wish to schedule a
- Click Select a Time.
- Choose the time you want and click Select next to that time (Status for that time slot must be open or select option will not appear).
- A window appears showing the appointment Click Save.
- You will receive a confirmation e-mail. You will also receive a reminder e-mail five days before and two days before your scheduled
