The Bruin Bite — 12 March

Greetings!

WOW!  The weather has been GREAT!  Spring is right around the corner and we are looking forward to it.

“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”  Charles Dickens

We hope that you get some good family time outside in the clean air and appreciate the weather.  Research tells us that being outside lowers stress levels, and I am sure we can all use that.

Dress Code –  With the warm weather, we are seeing more and more students who are out of dress code. We would like to review the Canyons District dress code and ask that you take a minute to see what your child is wearing before you send them off to school.

  1. Clothing must always cover all underwear.  Clothing must cover your midriff (that includes your tummy), backs, shoulders, cleavage, and be modest in nature.
  2. Shorts and skirts must reach mid thigh while seated. Jeans with holes in them are allowed as long as the holes are not above mid thigh when you are seated. Please check that your clothes meet dress code requirements before coming to school.

For more information, you may access this policy at canyonsdistrict.org.
