Goals for Butler Middle School’s TSSP 2024-2025
Attendance Goal:
Attendance – 80% of our students on-track each quarter with attendance. We define on track as students missing less than 10% (green and yellow).
Behaviors Goal:
Student Wellness – 90% of students will report feeling connected to school on targeted school climate survey each quarter. We will average the 4 data questions related specifically to connectedness from the survey.
Coursework: Math Goal:
- 75% of our students will be proficient or advanced on the Spring 2025 district wide math screener.
- 5% or less in BB and 20% or less in Basic in each grade level by the end of the school year.
- 75% of our SWD, ML’s, and students in the Below Basic level will grow at least 50 points or one level in the January and April testing windows.
Coursework: Reading Goal:
- 80% of our students will be proficient or advanced on the Spring 2025 district wide reading screener in each grade level.
- 5% or less in BB and 15% or less in Basic in each grade level by the end of the school year.
- 80% of our SWD, ELLs, and students in the Below Basic level will grow at least 50 points or one level in the January and April testing windows.

- How do we provide digital access to our students and keep them safe
- How do we Teach them to be good Digital Citizens
Content Keeper attached to our WiFi.
Discussion on available ways to keep your students safe on the internet Information will be sent to Parents via Parent Square.
Lan School/Teachers use to watch and monitor students us on their computers. Teachers are great at proximity in the classroom.
Butler Middle School Digital Plan Summary:

Safe Walking Routes handout was distributed to sec members
- New infrastructure built/we would need to provide a walking route for that new
- A opportunity for the SCC to discuss concerns about walking routes
- Lights at the cross walk
- Stop signs
- City related items for Cottonwood
- Transportation
When they look at Bussing, they take into consideration a 2 mile radius from the school. Discussion included the pocket of homes at the top of Bengal Blvd and walking down (west) during snow season. This was deemed after a study, that it was not a hazardous bus route. Bryan has been in contact with Leon Wilcox who is the Business Administrator at the District. There will be another survey done. Concerns were voiced at this time.
Drop off Zones were reviewed. City Proposal of another round a bout. Discussion with members of possible solutions:
Bryan Rudes will be sending out reminders of Safety Protocol of dropping off and picking up Students.

Data from the 1st quarter so far:
Attendance: 80% of our students on track (GOAL) Missing less than 10%
BMS at 89% on tract with attendance
Student Wellness Goal:
Student Climate Goal is 90% of students connected to the school.
Survey was passed out to the students to opt in or out. Incentive was a piece of candy if they turned in survey. Teachers were to keep track and report their numbers.
Reading GOAL: 80% of our students would be proficient or advanced. Test was in the Fall BMS has met their GOAL at 83% of our students being average or above average.
Math GOAL: 75% of our students would be proficient or advanced. Test was in the Fall BMS has met their GOAL at 78%.
Data was shown and compared to other District Middle School and District. Total minutes (22 minutes)
