Goals for Butler Middle School’s TSSP 2024-2025

Attendance Goal: 
Attendance – 80% of our students on-track each quarter with attendance. We define on track as students missing less than 10% (green and yellow).

Behaviors Goal:  
Student Wellness – 90% of students will report feeling connected to school on targeted school climate surveys each quarter. We will average the 4 data questions related specifically to connectedness from the survey.

Coursework: Math Goal: 

  • 75% of our students will be proficient or advanced on the Spring 2025 district wide math screener.
  • 5% or less in BB and 20% or less in Basic in each grade level by the end of the school year.
  • 75% of our SWD, ML’s, and students in the Below Basic level will grow at least 50 points or one level in the January and April testing windows.

Coursework: Reading Goal: 

  • 80% of our students will be proficient or advanced on the Spring 2025 district wide reading screener in each grade level.
  • 5% or less in BB and 15% or less in Basic in each grade level by the end of the school year.
  • 80% of our SWD, ELLs, and students in the Below Basic level will grow at least 50 points or one level in the January and April testing windows.
  • Welcome – (Summer) Begin audio recording
  • Elect a chair/co-chair (5 minutes)

  • District SCC Trainings (5 minutes)
    September 18, 2024:
  • 9 a.m. – 9:45 Basic SCC Training for new members and those wanting a refresher
  • 10-11:30 a.m.: General SCC Training for all members
  • 5:30 – 6:15 pm Basic SCC Training; 6:30 – 8 p.m. general training for everyone

 

October 3, 2024:

  • 1-2:30 p.m. General SCC Training for all members
  • 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. Basic SCC Training for new members and those wanting a refresher
  • 6:30 – 8 p.m. General SCC Training for all members

 

October 8, 2024:

  • 10 – 11:30 a.m. General SCC Training for all members
  • 6 – 7:30 p.m. General SCC Training for all members

*All of the above trainings will be in the Canyons Center at the District office, 9361 S. 300 East, Sandy


  • Review current TSSP (10 minutes)
    -More funding than we originally planned for
    -80% of our students will be proficient or advanced on the Spring 2025 district wide testing for ELA
    -75% of our students will be proficient or advanced on the Spring 2025 district wide testing for math
    -Attendance- 80% of our students on track with attendance. Students missing less than 10%.
    -Student Wellness goal- 90% of students will report feeling connected to school or targeted school climate surveys each quarter.
    -Review of money allocations
    -discussion of allocation of extra funds
