Butler Middle School’s School Community Council (SCC) is made up of parents from the community and teachers from the staff of Butler Middle School. The purpose of the SCC is to participate fully in the development of various school plans, mainly the School Improvement Plan and the School Land Trust plan, and give community input on the implementation of those plans carried out in the school.
 Meeting Information:

SCC Meetings will be held at 3:30 in the Main Office Board Room.  Patrons are welcome to attend.  If you have information you would like to present to the SCC, please contact either Mr. Hallenbeck or Ms. Kami McMaster, the SCC Chair at least one week prior to the meeting to be included in the agenda. Visiting patrons will be added to the attendance list.  Only council members participate in the discussion of agenda items and voting.

Goals and Action Plans for Butler Middle School’s CSIP

2015-2016

Literacy Performance Goals:

  1. Increase our school-wide reading proficiency to 80% in the advanced and proficient ranges as measured by the SRI.  
  2. Collect and analyze SAGE data to establish a SAGE writing and ELA goal for 2016.

 

STEM Performance Goals:

  1. 1)Increase our grade level Math CBM proficiency to 80% as measured by the Math M-Comp and Math M-CAP testing.
  2. 2)Collect and analyze SAGE data in Math and Science to establish a SAGE math and science goal for 2016.

PBIS Performance Goal:

  1. 1)Collect and analyze data from our initial PBIS Implementation Inventory.
  2. 2)Collect and analyze Educators Handbook and Great Bruin Card data.
